What is it?

House Angels is a Christian charity - our mission is to help make a difference to less fortunate neighbors in need by repairing their homes.

Who do we Assist?

Our mission is to help neighbors in need. Typically, these are homeowners who are elderly or are single parents, although, we will assist any no- or low-income folks.

What types of Work?

We focus on the home and living conditions. The work usually includes repair, including, carpentry, painting, yard work, roof repairs, and general maintenance. Our budget per project is limited to $1,500.

Where?

Because we are a new charity, we’ve focused our short-term attention on the needs in the greater Cobb County area.

When?

Typically, we work on Saturdays from early morning to about mid-afternoon. It typically takes us two or three Saturdays to complete a project.

Who does the work?

The vast majority of the work is done by volunteers. Generally, we are fortunate to have skilled and experienced leaders on each House site. The rest of the team is made up of folks from our church, Eagle Pointe Church, and other invited folks who want to make a difference in their community.

Where does our funding come from?

Because we are a startup charity, we have yet to officially raise funds. So far, funding has come from individual donations from the charter members of House Angels.

How does someone get help?

Have them call the number below. We will give them an Application to complete or they can fill out the application online. If the House qualifies, we will make a preliminary visit to interview the House owner/occupant and do quick review of the work needed.
